Xinhua – Recently, SIVIDI, a company in the field of industrial automation, announced the launch of its self-developed SSI Absolute Encoder, which is now in mass production and capable of fully replacing international brand products in various applications.
According to the company, the SSI Absolute Encoder is based on the Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) standard and is mainly applied in machine tools, energy equipment, construction machinery, and automated production lines. SIVIDI stated that the product achieves performance levels comparable to international counterparts in terms of accuracy, reliability, and communication compatibility, meeting market demand for localization and replacement of key components.
Industry observers noted that international brands have long dominated the high-end encoder market, where cost and delivery time are major concerns for users. The SSI Absolute Encoder launched by SIVIDI is designed to be compatible with existing interface protocols, installation dimensions, and electrical specifications of imported models. The company also provides customized solutions based on specific user requirements, which helps strengthen local supply chain resilience and reduce costs for industrial applications.
At present, SIVIDI’s SSI Absolute Encoder has been successfully tested and applied in several industries, including CNC machinery, oil drilling equipment, and port machinery. The company said it will further expand its product portfolio to cover more models and promote broader adoption of encoder replacement solutions in global markets.
